A NEW BUSINESS IDEA
I applied as a real estate agent last year but I am only a part timer since I am still a student. As a student, promoting my projects is not that hard. When I began talking to my friends and teachers, they were amazed because my projects are beautiful and very attracting. Almost all of them were interested, but, as of now, their financial status may not support it. Most of my clients were those administrators in our school. Some of them bought expensive properties and some could only afford those for low end.
One of my recent clients is my aunt. She chose a property which is for family starters. She liked the house and its location. During their move to the new house, i was with them to help them. The broker and I contacted the moving labor service of our company. They made a successful job of transferring all my aunt’s things into the new house. Their old house was left in my mother’s hands. The old house was planned to be transformed into an apartment and my mom will be the one to manage the business.
After 6 months, the old house became an apartment and is ready for rent. This is current business of my aunt. She thanked me for helping her with her decision of moving into another house and building a business with her old house.
Now, it is my time to think of what business i would like to create. After a few months i will be graduating with my bachelor’s degree. It might be better to start a business rather than entering other’s business. Since i am still a real estate agent, maybe i could start moving labor services..
AN ACT FOR A CAUSE
My academic organization is very active when it comes to conducting programs and events. Last month, we had an outreach activity and the recipients of all the donations will be an orphanage. The orphanage is composed of 100 children with ages 13 below. We’ve contacted different schools in the region to help us with this project. In our school, I had called a meeting and explained the objective of our upcoming event. We made a plan of how to earn many donations, because if we will only depend on our individual donations, it will not be that big.
We decided to seek the help of our school’s property and management department. They told us that all they have were wrecked cars and other vehicles. At first we did not think about it until we realized that those unwanted cars that they were about to dispose would be of great worth. With all the money we earned from the individual donations, those vehicles got fixed!
We can say that car donations are amazing! After presenting those to the children, they were very happy because at last, they can travel anywhere they want to go. Before, the caretaker of the children told us that they really wanted to travel, but since they have no means to do so, they could only stay inside the houses. The children seldom have the chance to witness other places, but from now on, they would have the chance to reach new places and discover a brighter world outside. Before leaving them, we toured them in our school using the cars we had donated. They enjoyed that day with us which was full of laughter and surprises. At the end of the day, they thanked us for all our help.
